2024 Christmas Shipping Cut-Off Dates: Plan Ahead for a Smooth Festive Season!

As we approach the holiday season, it’s crucial to stay on top of shipping deadlines to ensure your customers receive their orders on time. As carriers release their official Christmas shipping cut-off dates for 2024, we’ll update this page with the latest details. Be sure to check back regularly!

To keep your customers happy and stress-free, we recommend sharing conservative delivery time estimates or advising them to choose Express services, which are often running closer to standard delivery times during the busy holiday period.

Australia Post recommends lodgement by the following dates for delivery by Christmas (*excludes items sent to and from Perth and Darwin):

• Parcel Post: Friday 20th December 2024**
• Express Post: Monday 23 December 2024*
• StarTrack Express: Friday 20th December 2024*
• StarTrack Premium: Monday 23 December 2024*

*Items sent to and from Perth and Darwin with Parcel Post and Express Post need to be lodged by 13 December to be delivered by Christmas.

** For all items collected by Australia Post trucks or vans and taken directly to their processing facility. For Parcel Post items lodged over the counter, please lodge by 2:30pm on 20 December.

To get your parcels delivered before December 25th, make sure you book them for pickup or drop-off on or before the cut-off date.

• Monday 9th December 2024 – Deliveries to remove WA & NT
• Wednesday 11th December 2024 – Deliveries to remote areas
• Friday 13th December 2024 – Regional, and all deliveries to and from Perth
• Monday 16th December 2024 – National (excludes, WA, NT and remote areas)
• Wednesday 18th December 2024 – Near Metro
• Friday 20th December 2024 – Same City, Near Capital.

Domestic Express:

• Wednesday 18th December 2024 – Deliveries to remove WA & NT
• Thursday 19th December 2024 – Deliveries to remote areas
• Friday 20th December 2024 – Same City, Near Capital, Near Metro, National
  

International:

• New Zealand: Monday 16th December 2024
• United States, Canada, and United Kingdom – Friday 13th December 2024
• Major European Destinations: Tuesday 10th December 2024
• Rest of the World: Friday 29th November 2024

• Standard Parcels (Anywhere in Australia excluding FNQ, NT and WA): Wednesday 18th December 2024
• Standard Parcels (FNQ, NT and WA): Monday 16th December 2024
