Who are you? What is your business and what do you do?

Belinda Robb the Owner/Manager of One Little Footy Fan.

One Little Footy Fan sells a large range of mostly Australians Licensed Sports giftware.  We carry ranges such as NRL, AFL, A-League, Cricket and Rugby Union.

We specialise in mostly giftware, but also a large range of Licenced infants wear.

How long have you been around?

One Little Footy Fan was founded in 2008 after I had trouble finding my children clothing in my favourite sports team.

What sort of products/services you provide?

The latest great quality products, friendly customer service and fast delivery is our aim here at One Little Footy Fan.

How did you get started in eCommerce and what platforms do you sell on?

I tinkered a lot on eBay from 2002, selling mostly children’s toys and I changed stock with the different fads.  Someone on one of the eBay boards was talking about gift shows and websites and it has evolved from there.  One Little Footy Fan sells online using Magento, eBay and TradeMe.

One Little Footy Fan tries to source new and interesting products weekly.  We stock every team, and do not just stick to the ones in the local area.  We dispatch items quickly to give the customer a seamless and quick transaction.

How do you ship your products and print labels?

Before ready to Ship, I would use a CSV file generated from my Magento store, and then upload it to Australia Post’s eParcel.  I would then have to manually enter the tracking numbers back into eBay.

Then We found out about ReadyToShip via Facebook Online selling groups, and global retail conferences. Moving to ReadyToShip was seamless, took less time to set up than getting a CSV file I had previously been using to eParcel!

What were the attractive benefits of a system like ReadyToShip?

The Main benefit for One Little Footy Fan is the system is fast, easy to use and sends all the tracking number back to my eBay and Magento customers.

The reality is I should have switched sooner!  Customer service is fantastic; speed and ease of product save me so much time.

On a daily/weekly basis, what are some of the things about ReadyToShip that makes your life easier?

It is saving us so much time every day.  All I have to do is log into ReadyToShip, tick the boxes of the items I want to send and send them to eparcel!  It’s that quick. When I have finished and dispatched all my parcels, I let ready ReadyToShip know and they add all the tracking number to my posted items!

The stand-out feature is the way ReadyToShip pick up address errors.  They make then easy to find, fix and there is no hassle trying to find it.

Finally, what are your best ecommerce tips for others?

Find a great group of people in a similar field to you, and utilise all their knowledge.  When someone suggests a third party app or add-on, try it.  Most have a 30 day free trial and it will save you so much time and money in the long run.
